ACTUAL ASPECTS OF GEORGIAN ETHNOCULTURAL HERITAGE ECONOMICS IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL TRENDS

Abstract

In the modern world, the study, research and analysis of global trends in the economy of ethnocultural heritage plays an important role in the socio-economic development of a particular country, on the one hand, in the formation of cultural identity, in the preservation and popularization of values, in the development of new technologies and their transfer to future generations, and on the other hand, in the development of education, science and tourism, in the strengthening of public-private partnerships, in the creation of new jobs and in attracting investments.

The article discusses and analyzes the essence of ethnoculture, a significant part of cultural heritage, determines its main socio-cultural and economic functions, discusses its role in maintaining peace and stability, in the dialogue of cultures and in the preservation of cultural diversity, as well as the current state of Georgia's cultural heritage and the problems of its preservation, the global competitiveness of cultural resources and the possibilities of their use for the socio-economic development of the country and the preservation of cultural heritage.

The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and uses general scientific methods of cognition: analysis, synthesis, comparison, logical reasoning, collection of facts.

Ethnoculture, its customs and traditions play a very important role in improving all aspects of the life of Georgian society, the ignorance of which often harms the national interests of the state. Accordingly, the paper describes the main factors and mechanisms by which ethnocultural heritage influences various aspects of society, which allows developing effective strategies for the preservation and further rational use of ethnocultural heritage, which take into account global trends, sustainable development goals, interests in forming a positive image of the country, synergistic interaction with such areas of the economy as the development of innovations, technologies, business, culture and demonstrating their importance for the socio-economic development of the state.
